Hey everyone. I've had a problem that's been bugging me for a while with the doors on my Bestop Tigertop (73 CJ-5). The doors fit fine with the exception of the top back corner of the door and the back side down to the door latch. There is a pretty good size gap between the door and the rest of the soft top. I've bent the doors slightly and adjusted the door strikers and handles, but that hasn't helped hardly at all. Any suggestions on something I could try to minimize that gap?

You have to bend them a lot it took two people to do mine and now there is no air leak but before the was about a 1" 1/2 gap in the same spot

Yep you have to custom fit them yourself.
Just another joy of owning a Jeep.

Thanks for that link Sarge, good write up by John Strenk.
He's a well-known character from many CJ forums, a very knowledgeable and helpful guy.

When I bent the doors for the Tigertop on the '71, I took the doors off, clamped then in a Black & Decker Workmate. I clamped the area I wanted to bend, then used the rest of the door as leverage against the smaller area to be bent. Worked very easy.
