Got the hatchannel made up and welded in so far for the passenger side floors. Got a patch panel that I'm putting in right now that goes from the flat of the floor up the 45ish degree angle to the firewall. Just letting the metal cool down some before i finish welding it up.

Just printed off Howard's firewall layout he did a couple years ago. 8) See what misc holes I can fill in while I'm waiting for things to cool down.

Hopefully I can get the other hatchannel bent up for the drivers side before I go home...

Got the body back this past monday. Took the jeep to the carwash today before class to get the oil they sprayed off of it. I had a few holes to patch up that appeared after being sprayed down with hydrocloric acid. think I lost my vin plate. Forgot to get it off the firewall before I took it in. Just 4 small philips screws there now.:(

We started to prep it for primer today but I didn't think I had enough time to get it done right and it was looking like rain all day. I finally decided to bring it back home so i could sand blast a couple corners and spots that didn't get cleaned up from stripping it. I'd rather spend a little more time prepping the metal so it holds the paint than rush it. I've got 2 more weeks of class left so hopefully I can get paint on it before I'm done.

Going to be using an epoxy primer with a high build primer over that. Then the base and clear. Should be pretty good looking once I'm done.
