Come up another hour or so and you can take my Meyer 1/2 cab to go with it.:):) Unfortunately, my weekend is tied up with Cub Scout campout /ice fishing. I would have liked to see that one before it gets away. Good Luck!

Should be about 3" narrower then your '71 if you have the D30 front and flanged D44. However with the wider tires it has, it could easily be as wide or wider then a '71 with a D30.

    Profile says... Dana 27.

Should be the same width for axles, but as noted backspacing on wheels and tire size will make a difference.

Could take your own along I suppose and put them on if need be.

If it has four levers all in a row that could mean an overdrive, with the PTO lever back between the seats just behind the rear of the transfercase.

there is no overdrive,4 levers = pto, twinstick t/c and 3 speed. He has the factory rims and ntd's going with it, I think if i am under 66" inches i will be fine in my enclosed.

Long as the body fits in there the original tires weren't wider.

Hey Eric, predicted to get up to a foot of snow here in VT- WED thru Thursday AM. Friday may be your best travel day. Not sure if I can get freed up.

sids, I was just lookin at that... Friday may be the day, and if that is the case the ol man might be able to meet me over there with a much larger trailer, I still think the enclosed is going to work.

I think I sent you the numbers on my 55 the other night. I believe it's 60 inches wide so your estimate of 66 inches wide should be fine. If I remember right you said your enclosed trailer was 17 feet. My trailer is a car hauler (can't remember the width) that is 16 foot + 2 foot dovetail. I've got lots of room left over so a 17 footer should be just fine. The only problem with hauling it might be getting it tied down.

Good luck. Don't forget to post some pics when you get it home.

looking closer I see some issues:
    1. Looks like Bondo on the passenger rear
    2. Dash Is more hacked up then he claimed
    3. I have a pic that is not posted th shows the floor in rougher shape than he claimed

I am going to call him and see what he says to $2k It's just not worth more than that to me. Plus even though it's a 55' we were really trying to find a willy's truck, if this was one I would already be up there. Maybe this is not in the shape he really claimed, don't get me wrong it's pretty soild, but I think that body is rogher than he is letting on.

Might as well just buy it already. I only regret NOT doing things, never the other way around.
