    Yep there the original on my 71. I don't know when they did the change, sorry. Mine go back along the left head and then change to rubber to connect to the lines from the tank and ending in the middle of the fire wall.

    I don't believe all '66 models had an oilbath. There are some early magazine pics that show a dry, paper-element air cleaner on V6's. My '66 has the air cleaner that Clint has pics (in my case, I think this air cleaner in particular was installed by a previous owner) of and I'd be interested in getting the front decal with the filter specs.

    Good luck on trying to figure out what year had what air cleaner guys. JEEP could not even figure that one out.:)

    Looks like a Buick Fireball V6!!!
    Coil at front of engine.
    Upper radiator hose coming off at an angle to the right.

    Did anyone ever find out about the AC decals for the Oil bath cleaner.

    I just bought 3 of the colored Dauntless decals from the Bear Creek guy in Colorado. Does anyone know where the colored one goes on the Oil Bath?
