Does anyone have the proper delco-remy coil number to replace my coil. My parts book calls out for part #932 547 to replace the coil in a 68-71 CJ5 with a V6. That really doesn't tell me much, I would assume that it would have come with a delco-remy coil from the factory means how it's a buick GM engine.

Why do you need the Delco number? Ignition coils are a generic thing ... there are only two types that were used with points ignitins - either with an internal resistor, or not. You can look up the Standard Products number on their web site, and it will cross to any aftermarket coil manufacturer.

Ok, the Standard number is UC-12 or UC-12X, a universal ignition coil for use with an external resistor.

My mistake I should have posted this on the restoration page. I was looking for a specific delco-remy number. I realize there is plenty of replacement stuff out there.
