When airning down for the trail, how low can I go without the risk of loosing tire bead? I'm running 31x10.50x15s on factory Renegade aluminum wheels.

    Thanks

It also depends on the width of the rim? Whats your rim size? And the type of tire you are running as in the sidewall ply what type of tire?

    Ahoya!
I'm running 31's on hand me down 15x8 steel wheels, around town they've never had more than 25lbs of air in em. Wheelin the loose stuff, I'll drop to 15lbs, really loose, 10. At that point ol' jeep morphs into a snow mobile. I run with as much air as I dare in the spare, and use a home made air stealer to up em a bit before heading home.

I talked to an old school sand railer who had a home made tire inflater, ie tennis ball with hose attachment. Jam tennis ball in exhaust pipe, blow up tires. They run lower pressure than me, but sand dunes are a different kind of animal. His tire contraption worked great, blowin em up with hot air. I always wanted to replicate it, but was more concerned with blowin up the motor than fillin tires. Seemed to work great though.

I wish I could get a hold of an air chuffer to fill the tires, pull a plug, fill em up. Any one making them any more?

I run 31 inch tires on stock rims, I never go below 15 or 18 psi.
