Removing difficult bolts (arghhhhhhhh!!!!)

    1/2" x 20 TPI will do it. Doesn't hurt to run a die down the length of each stud before you put new lug nuts on. The die will clean up the threads a bit so you don't strip one accidentally.

    Don't ask me how I learned this little trick, K?

    when you have the drums off, get new studs installed. Neversieze the heck outta the studs!

    No problem with keeping them that way. Just be sure to tell the guys at the tire store that the drivers side are counter clockwise (turn left) to tighten.

    You could get all fancy smancy about it too and brag that they are sophisticated theft deterent lug nuts.
