Will I encounter any problems with switching over from a Prestolite distributor to a Delco? I know the timing would be different, but didn't know what else I would have to be aware of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should have no problems other than maybe the spark plug boots and I'm not sure thats gonna be different.

I can't think of anything. Spark plug boots should be the same for a point system from one distributor to the next, not like electronic vs. points.

Easy changeover, would recommend putting the Pertronix conversion in, however. The kit come with shims to help with setting the magnetic pick-up airgap and minimizing shaft endplay. Well worth it IMHO...
