I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site it makes life much easier when there is a place you can look up Information and ask for everyones advice!!!! I am doing SAGINAW POWER STEERING CONVERSION and installing a AGR super Box. I got a kit from advance there is a few pic's of the mount bracket that came with the kit when mounted you would have to cut the crossmember and move the RADIATOR up out of the way. The other is the one from plans on this site in pdf format. Well it's very clear which bracket I am goning to use the home built one from the plans. Besides it's a lot stronger then the other one!!!!!!!! And you don't have to cut every thing just to get it mounted up! The only thing I changed was move out the mount stand off's from 3/4" to 1" and 1/4" to 1/2" to miss the bolts on the shackle spring mount.

    Thanks Everyone  :v6:

Advance's kit it nice but was just not for my application. My Streeing column was in bad shape so I am changing it with one from flaming river. I gave Adavance a call and they were a big help and let me send back the parts that I did not need. And set me up with the ones that I did need. And yes the kit comes with every thing you need to do the conversion less the Column and Pump and Streeing Box. But if your planing this route Just give them a call first they were more than helpfull. And it will in the end save you some time. The PDF files for the mount are in the technical library.:)

On my swap tp the powered side of the steering world I will be using (all parts sitting in my living room right now) an AGR Super-box 2, a Flaming River shaft and a super heavy-duty(1/2 platea,d only 1 hole to drill) mount from M.O.R.E.
    Pretty straight forward mechanically.

I had a shop in Rapid City put a MANUAL SAGINAW CONVERSION on my 64. No complaints in eight years. Running 31x10.50x15's now. Advance Adaptors supplied the kit for instlation.
