Where is #1 on 225

    I need to know which bank #1 cylinder is on driver side or passenger side.Thanks,oh yeah its a 225

    Left front (driver's side) is always #1.

    A quick way to tell #1 it is always the farthest cylinder forward. If you look at a V shaped motor one bank of cylinders always sits farther forward than the other, the one closest to the grill is always #1.
