These pictures are from a 74 cj6 I picked up free with a title. You can see the floor and side panels have holes. I found the side panels have been welded over the original panels. I was thinking of using 1/8" diamond plate steel for the floor and the wheel boxes. However the front floor under the seats is bad too.
Somebody riveted galvanized hvac panels to the floor.

Should I try to get floor panels from a cj5 and work from there?

Are cj5 floor panels the same as cj6floor panels?

I still have to remove the body from the frame.

I also have to fabricate cj6 side panels.

I have not yet seen a cj5 up close to get a close look and make comparisons.

    Any suggestions on this project?

:iagree: My floor looked just like yours. I used Classic panals on my M38a1. Very good quality. You sure you want to used diamond plate?
