My 70 cj5 with a 225 v6 came with an AC -15 radiator cap which is correct for a radiator built for15 lb of pressure. All the research I've done says the v6 radiator is a 13 lb radiator, which would be an AC-6 radiator cap. What cap would be correct for a proper restoration. Check your cap and let me know, any help is appreciated.

We just had a discussion in the tech section about radiator caps on the V6.

Mine was/is a 15lb. thinking the '71 FSM calls for a 15lb. cap as well. Where have you found the 13lb. reference?

Maybe there was a change somewhere along the way...

The 13 lb reference comes from various auto parts stores when I tryed to replace it. Matter of fact they all said 13 lbs. Sounds like thy're all wrong to me. Thanks for the heads up.
