I'll be keeping my dana 18 as it is already rebuilt with tera low gears and an overdrive. I'm not sure how the offset rear output would work with a centered rear diff axle. I was thinking the cj6 might be long enough to not cause driveshaft issues? If I wanted to use the Scout axles. I'll probably go with what I have, maybe find a dana 30 diff for the front or have a 44 built to stock width. I am thinking about the Hollbrook 3" lift longleafs for my lift height. If I want to run 35" tires I'll have to do a slight body lift and some sheet metal trimming, maybe. I will for sure run 33s. I think any tire less is too small.

Leave the D44 a little wide, it will help with stability. Just make sure the gearing is the same as your rearend gearing.:coffee:

Can I buy a new power lock for the dana 27 front end? Or do I have to find an used one? What is the going price. I want to do a 3 or 4 inch lift and run 33x9.50 tires on stock wheels. What lift manufactures are you guys using and have had good success with? Thank You.

You will have to find a used powerlock for the 27. I have one and it seems to work great. I think I paid around $200 off ebay. I am running a 2 1/2" lift and it clears my new 33's pretty well, minor rubbing at the back of the rear fenderwells. The lift is an old Rancho 2".
