IIRC, this has been asked and answered before but I couldn’t find it using the search.

    What does this number signify?

I have seen handwritten numbers in yellow crayon on the firewall behind the battery but nothing like what is shown in your picture. Maybe it's a trim code based on the 3 digits. However, all of the trim codes that I've seen are metal stickers placed above the battery. jpflat2a might chime in with some decoding on the trim if that's the answer.

Mine had the yellow crayon on the fire wall and other places also, but did not have a number like you show either.

It was used as a work truck on an estate so it’s possible the number was stenciled on by the PO. Regardless it’s not important I was just curious. Thanks for the replies.
