data plate on firewall

    My '66 has the normal VIN plate on the firewall but I noticed 4 small holes below it where another plate might have been.
    This picture shows a Canadian data plate of the same size that would fit with the holes.
    Did all 66s come with a second data plate?
    what plate was attached if it was not a Canadian jeep like shown in the gallary?

    Or were the holes always there even if no plate was attached?

    There was a "trademark" plate that showed up on some units, may have been ones intended for export.
