    Hey guys,

Its been a while since I was here.
New baby almost here, new house almost here, its been crazy.

So I put my rebuilt MC2100 (1.08 ) on the Jeep earlier this year, but haven't had the time to finish. I ended up smashing the radiator, so that had to get replaced as well. . . So I finally put it all together this weekend, and she runs like a champ. I still have to finish the new steering column, so no load tests yet, but on blocks it runs better than the old Carter ever did. Smooth.
I took a couple of pics.
Also the Choke Tube kit I bought from Summit works great. I haven't hooked up the electric yet, but as soon as she warmed up, the choke just opened right up. You can see it attached to the exhaust tube in one of the pics.

I used the original 1V throttle body under a 2V adapter from Summit, make sure you get the right one.
For a 232 1V use this one (I just plugged two of the holes on the 1V side with RTV.
Edit: I also had to shave a little bit of the adapter to fit the power valve cover, be prepared to take a grinder to your adapter.

    Not this one.

When I rebuilt the carb I used #47 jets from carbs unlimited - http://www.carburetion.com .

And the air filter was a house brand model from Summit also.

I had to customize the throttle bracket from my old Carter, but it works great, and of course I have the massive throttle return spring bracket which also works great.
Thought I would share for all the guys running a 232.

I bought several off of ebay about a year ago and rebuilt one.
They were all cheap and beat up, so I figured I could definitely piece one together for myself, and maybe a second one to make my money back.
I'm planning on rebuilding my other 1.08 and selling it and I'll probably rebuild a 1.21 I've got and sell it too.

I bought the rebuild kit from NAPA and the more specialty stuff online.
The rebuild kit has a new power valve and accelerator pump as well as all the little stuff you would expect. Also, most kits have both sets of gaskets to fit older and newer styles.
You have to special order the jets if you want new ones and choke pull-offs if it requires one (the plunger thing on the top right of the carb in the second picture)
I have another new set of 47 jets and a choke pull off, those you have to order special.

You can PM me if you're interested.

Also, in cleaning these carbs off I used napa brand carb cleaner, and then when I ran out I tried some Valvoline V4 blah blah synthetic carb cleaner. THAT STUFF WORKS! To my surprise, it was night and day better at dissolving the dirt and gunk. My fingerprints have almost grown back. -- Just kidding, but seriously, if you've never messed with it before, get some nitrile gloves, you won't regret it (and your hands won't stink afterwards).
