Grille screen

    Are there any indicators if a 3A grill screen is original, circa, or a repro? I did a search but didn't find anything to date the one I have.

    On the cj-3a.com page they show one, noted as original. You could compare yours there. Of course someone manufactures a reproduction , I believe OMIX. I believe any from that era would look the same, even from a late 2a, the early 2a's had a different wire pattern square vs. diamond.
    I don't think its as rare as the cj5 chaff screen seems to be (no after market reproducer).
