Another Even / Odd Question - Distributor

    Is the distributor housing (HEI) the same for a even and odd fire 231 engine? Wondering if I could just replace the pick-up and change the cap.

    Thanks for the info .... that is exactly what I needed. Did not think about the shaft having 6 points. Was thinking in threes only (one hand counting). Atleast now I now which points to remove.
