    Hello,

I was wondering if any of you recall if the 258 inline six has water jacket drains. If so, could someone tell me on what side of the motor they are on and the aprox location ?

    Thank you,

    Extreem

You mean a block drain? Don't know - I don't recall seeing one. I don't think it's usual for modern engines. There may be a pipe plug that you can remove and replace with a spigot.

There should be a pipe plug on the lower drivers side that does this. (My '83 258 has one). I used it to mount the sensor for my autometer temp guage.
