transmision floor panel

    Hi guys.
    been doing some floor repais on th 1968 cj, I removed the transmision panel thinking I could add some new steel to it but Its hard to weld to rust,so it looks like I will have to replace. any recomendations on where I can purchase the panel??

    I would suggest calling Harry and Jo Sheets @ Midwest Willys, they have some pretty solid one for $35(?) if I remember right. Good Luck.

    Midwest Willys is a good suggestion - you should be able to find a used one. I'd expect they are available aftermarket, but I'd prefer a good used one.

    Aftermarket won't fit the existing holes in the floor.Not even close. BTDT! Buy a good used one if you can, trust me on this.
