CJ5 Body PAnel Thickness

    I am going to start making a few repair panels for my '66 CJ5 and was wondering if anyone new the correct gauge of steel to use. I am thinking it is either 18 or 16 but would like to know which one to use to get a more "seamless" result. Any info would be great.
