Jeep length???

    I'm about to buy two CJ5s and I was wondering how long they are bumper to bumper, so I'll know if they will both fit on my trailer before I go for the pick up.

    I think it should be 135.5 inches bumper to bumper.

    I measured mine and came up with 126" or 10'- 6". That's with out the bumperetts.

    Not sure what year your talking but we got 2 flatfenders on an 18ft trailer. Yes the front Jeep had the wheels right on the edge same with the back and the bumpers were tight against each other, they just barely fit. These were also mostly stock with out any rear bumpers or big front bumpers.

    We also put a flatfender on a 9ft bed. Backed the truck up to a dirt pile, drove the Jeep up, bumper about 1in off the headache rack and cranked her down, the rear wheel was on the bed but that is about it.

    To answer your question, 2 pre-72 CJs will probably fit, if mostly stock, on an 18ft trailer but it will be very tight.
