    Hey, Guys!
Just used light to check my timing on V6 and it looks like this picture....
Engine runs rough at high speed and under load...runs good at idle and if you go easy on throttle.

Is this before or after TDC?

There isn't two zeros. Zero is in the middle then the numbers increase from there.

So, since my timing mark on the balancer shows to be toward the top of the drawing, does that mean timing is advanced or retarded (like me)? : )

    Wait, which engine is this?

If you could fill in your profile it would help us answer questions so we don't have to ask stuff like this every time.

If it's a :v6: I provided a link that shows advanced and retarded on the balancer for you. :)

Ah, ok. Looking at your illustration it looked like the timing marks were to the left of the balancer, not the right so I wanted to make sure my link was appropriate.

So yeah, that should be retarded in your illustration I believe.
