I have f-134 engine in an old 1963 cj5 frame and need to know if this will fit in a 1974 Cj5 frame without modifications. Thanks for your responses.

You would need to put in new engine mounts at the least.

AMC engines are not similar to the F-head or V6 at all.

Don't waste your time and effort on this idea. Sell the F134 to someone who can use it, and drop an AMC engine in the '74 frame. If you look around, you can find a good AMC 232 or 258 6 cylinder for cheap or free. 232s especially you can hardly give away, and they are plentiful and durable. Either that, or sell the '74 frame and focus on the '63. Don't try to mix parts between them.
