water pump gasket

    I'm thinking of pulling the water pump off for a bit to make it easier to run a heater by pass, but in doing that, I'll wreck the gasket and doubt I'll find another. Can I replace it with a line of black RTV?

    Krage sells them, but try to salvage your old on and add RTV as needed. You'll know if it's leaking.

    I used copper spray on the old one so I know it will be shot, I'll try the RTV as needed


    Yeah I've had enough rad leaks :rofl:
