In researching old threads I think I have figured out what transfer case I have. Is this in fact a single stick Dana 18? It's in a 71 CJ5 with a 225. The drive is offset to the passenger side in front and back. Here's a picture of the front where the stick and breather is.

Here is a picture from under the passenger side rail. I assume the threaded part towards the back is where a speedo gear/cable goes. Is that correct? Also what is the stud hanging down at the bottom with the nut attached? Any ideas?? Also where would an E-brake go?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes it is a dana spicer 18 with the emergency brake/parking brake removed and it is attached to a T14 3 speed transmission.

The parking brake drum assy. would bolt to the rear output housing and the through the yoke. The threaded stud w/ nut is where the actuator arm would mount; one end pulls on the shoes, other end of arm would be hooked to the cable.

How typical of this awesome community...I do research for a couple of weeks and still have questions and then post this thread on the site and all is answered in minutes! You guys are great! Thanks for all the help! By the way, is the shiny threaded part where the speedo cable comes out?

    Thanks again!
