placement for towbar mounting brackets?

    What ever you do, be careful if you are using those dinky hitch pins.
    A buddy and I were testing the tow bar we built. While testing for any bind, the pin became jammed inserted into place.
    When we tried to remove the pin, the head snapped off!
    They already were a bit annoying to remove, so I upped them to the pins on the bottom, that handle makes it so much easier. :beer:

    I think that's some good advice. I wanted to use a hitch pin because I didn't want threads from a bolt chewing up the bronze pilot bushing and causing a wobbly tow bar. After thinking about it, I decided instead to use some 1/2" grade 8 bolts with a long shoulder on them that worked out well.
