18 transfer case

    I have two 18 transfer cases, 1 with 11/8 shaft and 1 with 11/4 shaft, i need to rebuild 1 of them,is one better then the other.

    The 1 1/4 is stronger.

    Go with the 1-1/4, large bore case. If I may, I would suggest giving Novak a call and ordering one of there intermediate shaft kits. They are strong and of good quality.
