Well, I was able to get the Offy 4bbl intake installed and the Pro-Jection installed, and it RUNS!!!
When I get it tuned I'll report back on how it drives. So far other than fighting an air bubble at the injectors it works great and idles fine. I've got some voltage adjusting at the TPS and some fuel pressure work to do but other than that it was worth it! :D

Very cool!!! I may be going the same route with injection. I asked a guy about his TBI setup on his 4.1L jeepster and he said he was going to swap in a V8 so he offered me first dibs on the TBI setup for the motor :)

I'm going to have my HEI distributor re-curved tomorrow to match my RV cam. I think that's where the coughing under load is coming from. Then if that works I'll post some pics.

Well, I re-curved my dist. They wanted $50 to do it, and the kit was $5. As you can guess I did it myself. I just used the heavy weights and lightest springs to get advance as soon as I could. The base timing is set at 10 BTC. Runs great witout any coughing.
Now after tuning it and setting the screws it runs like a scalded dog! I get a whole lot more torque off the line and decent power on the freeway. The way I've got it set is perfect for wheeling, you may want it set differant if you don't do much low RPM driving. I'll try to get some pics posted this week. :D Now I need to mount the ECU and finish up all the vacuum lines and tie up all the wiring under the dash. Then it's time to try it out in the hills. Anything has got to be better than a worn out 2G! :D
