When I replace my swaged studs for the ten inch brakes with regular ones that will allow easier access to the brakes, what size should I use? A search of the site tells me that I should use ones from a 1970 or later but I do not see any particular size mentioned. Krage has quite a few listed on his website. If anybody has already done this already and can tell me which studs to use it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Nick

I think I recently provided the Dorman part number for the tapered axles. Do a search it should be easy to find. The part number listed worked for the 9" and 11" brakes, should work with 10"s as well. The one thing to consider is that these can only be swapped out once or twice before the hole in the hub becomes too large and they will no longer seat without spinning. DAMHIK.
