    Hi
I had a friend run the new lines for me on my 63 CJ5.
Should I be worried with the way the brake lines were routed ?

I am concerned with the lines running along the top of the rear axle ( see photo attached)
I noticed the frame bumper pads are in line with the axle and if I bottom out, could the bumper pads crush the brake lines?

Or do the bumper pads strike in front of the axle onto the leaf springs?

    Thanks
    Fred

if bottomed out your pads will/should hit the axle housing, you should probably move them from the contact area. You may be able to simply bend them outta the way, it depends on how they were run.

Yes, the axle could go up and into the bump stop.
