    I know a guy selling the above with new seals, new r&P, 4.10 gears, new carrier for the 30 wants $550obo.
    what do you think there worth? They would bolt right up to my jeep.

    Why are they any better than what you have? A factory '73 has the same axles, with 3.73s or 4.27s optional. If you have 3.73s, that's a lot of money for not much gain.

    Doubtful you have a T-98, more likely a T-18. I don't know how you'd swap a T-98 to an AMC engine. You sure it's a Dana 300?

    $550 is cheaper then what it would take to regear both axles but as Tim said that is not a big improvement over 3.73. If its the gears you want then yes they should bolt in. If not then save your money and get the gears you want.

    thanks guys, your comments make it more clear, don't need extra's. I think I'll use the money towards a front disk brake conversion

    Yeah, but if he bought those and sold his that isn't a real large investment. I think it's worth it if they have been rebuilt properly and are ready to go. I would definitely go look at them if they were local to me. Then I could go through the braking system and have essentially new axles.
