centering the head on f-head

    I was made a head gasket job.And because the head bolts was pitted i buyed some new grade 8.After a question to Walck's he told me that they will work but they will not center the head.Any trick to center it?Have anyone else try it?they are some small water passage holes that i dont want to block

    Have anyone tried to replace the standar headbolts with new grade 8 4+1/2" yellow plated?impressions?
    i didn't know that there is centering problems!!!!
    i'm collecting parts to do the job.

    if it were me i would use the old bolts to center it up, have never seen head bolts pitted to the point that they were un useable:shock:
