Found this sitting in front of the local scrap metal yard. Nearly hitched it up and brought it home. Figured I should be honest and hope it is there monday morning when the place opens so I can buy it. Hopefully no one with less Scruples gets the same idea I had. Pretty roygh but I know I can pick it up for the price of scrap.

Looks more like a Bantam of some sort to me than a 416.

Did someone just give it to the scrap place? Around here, they don't just leave scrap on the doorstep. But if it were me, I'd put a note on it to call me before scraping.

Still a cool old trailer to pull behind a jeep.

Good on you for being honest... Strange looking axle set-up, what with the coil springs and leaf springs. IF it's a true Bantam, the 4 side tub tie downs are not all that prevalent; but would be useful. If you get it, post the ACM number on the G-503 site and they'll be able to get you close on a production date. Would make a great project...

With bad tires and no plate I'd think that someone abandoned the trailer and scrap. Haul it off and bring it back when the scrap yard is open and sell the scrap. Then take the trailer home.

Gonna be there in the morning when they open if it is still there. The guy that owns/runs the place lets me pull junk out of his yard all the time cuz I bring him so muchall the time. I am betting it is abandoned cuz stuff is dropped at the gates there all weekend.

They're handy to have behind a Jeep long as they can carry stuff!

I'd venture a guess of early Bantam civvie - early enough that it doesn't have the rear sheet metal side supports, and still has the drilled out spring hangers. I don't know wheels well enough to tell if those are combat wheels or not.
