Pretty sure the brackets are the same from the introduction of buckets (late 60s?) through '75. The only source I know of is used from a PP or junkyard. Try posting WTB here and on Willystech.

Try Pasadena 4x4 salvage, Pasadena Tx. ph. 281-487-0184. Roy is kind of expensive but he has alot of new and used Jeep parts.

I saw a couple of seats with brackets on eBay a couple of days ago....not sure if they're still there.

I got luck when I did this. My brackets were salvable (welding and painting). I took my old seats to an upholstery shop and had them make the seats I wanted. You know with bolsters, back support, waterproof tweed, etc. The best part is I still can use my under seat tool box. In all I paid about $150 for both. Cheaper than new!

good idea... but i dont have stock or anything like stock CJ seats. i do have my brackets. what i am looking for is a bestop or mastercraft style seat that i can buy that will bolt to my brackets or that comes with a bracket that will work for our CJ's

i may keep what i got and when i build a better roll cage build some mastercraft seats into the cage design
