Steering shaft u-joint

    Does anybody have a flaps part # for a 72-75 steering shaft u-joint?

    You might want to be a little more specific. Do you mean at the column end or the steering box end. Power steering or manual. In any case you probably are going to need an aftermarket shaft or a borgeson/flaming river joint.

    Crown or others should have it

    Supposedly the XJ has a useful steering joint - maybe look at one in your local junk yard.

    If you call borgeson and let them know the configuration it needs to fit they will send one to you that fits perfectly. If it's not a normal one they will make it for you in no time.

    I should have been more specfic when I changed over from a ross box to manual saginaw. I used the lower steering shaft from a early 70's cj5. The u-joint is on the column end. it looks to be the same size as a pto u-joint.I was hoping someone would have a local auto parts store # for one. Just looking for a quick fix for the weekend.
