Bad Bearing ?

    Think I need to replace this, funny thing there was still grease in the cavity.

    On the way home today from a local car show the bearing started to make noise, and then it locked up when I pulled over to check it, got it rolling again and drove the Jeep to a parking lot. The race was severely heat cracked. May be time for a full floater.

    It appears the race spun in the axle housing? What is the proper OD of the race or ID of the housing? Can I use some kind of bearing loctite to hold it? It appears to be about .055 oversize?

    If the housing is toast, could I still convert this axle to a full float?
