Wire routing

    Just wondering if anyone could describe or post pictures of the original wire routing for the engine compartment and the taillights for a V6.

    On my jeep the engine compartment has 2 wires that need to run down to the starter and another group that runs to the alt, choke, temp, and distributor. Did these wires run on top of the engine or over near the battery tray and then cross over? Also did the tail light wires (yellow, green, brown) run near the brake light switch and then along inside the frame rails as pictured or do i have that wrong?

    I rewired my 71 last year. I am not the original owner but the tailights ran inside the driver frame rail past the M/C and were wrapped. I ran it that way again. Not sure about the other wires in the engine compartment.

    Your wiring looks to be close to where my original wiring was. I rewired everything under the dash and under the hood from scratch. I installed two fuse panels - one hot and one switched.
