I have a Cheiftain turn signal assembly on the flatty. I have never used them and didnt find anything while gooling the name, anyone have any experience with this type turn signal switch and have a wiring diagram for it? Does it ground with a wire or is the ground on the steering tube?

    tHanks!

Dan, since it is just a switch, it most likely does not use a ground. If it has a sig lite in the unit it will most likely have a very small black wire for that bulbs ground. Since it is only a switch, it won't smoke anything to apply power to one wire and using a test lite on the others and run it thru the functions. You will eventually find the feed wire and the rest will fall into place. Happy hunting.
