air cleaner

    here is how i built my air cleaner system, the PO had left the oil bath off and ran a taped on filter media

    i think i would support the filter (and tubing) some how to prevent it from pinching the tube shut if it where to bend.

    otherwise good idea.

    the oil filter mount was already installed and it does appear to be a factory option ,and for the air tube it is schedule 80 blk cpvc, i am going to get a oil bath to replace it but this will work for now:beer:

    HHMM, that gives me an idea for my 360 and the deep holes I occasionally wander into....

    That is the setup on mine.
    take a plastic wire tie or some thing like that and attach it to the brace for the radiator and the tube to the cleaner element. Takes the strain off the top of the carb.

    I used the plastic ZipTies. Have to be replaced after about six months, but, Hey - It Works!
