Namely, a T-18A ? I checked the oil in the tranny, and there is some small copper particule, so I know some syncro are not in their best shape. So to help a bit, I'll change the oil. I know where the drain plug is, I just want someone to tell me it is ok to fill a tranny by the shifter hole. It will be easier than crawling under the jeep.

    Thanks

You can but you need to know and measure how much.
Or you can take the fill plug out and fill at the shifter untill it comes out the fill hole.

Make sure you fill it with a GL-4 rated gear oil, and NOT a meets GL-4 and GL-5 gear oil.
