I'm building a 47ish cj-2a from a pile of parts. L head motor, stock drivetrain, repro tub. I using a GM alternator, stock oil batch air filter, and a heater that mounts inside the passenger firewall(stock?). I'm about to start the wiring and need to mount the fuse block. The fuseblock is a 12 circuit unit that's about 6” by 6”. I'm having trouble finding a good place to mount it. Got any suggestions?

I just mounted mine on the firewall behind the steering column. I was going to mount it on the passenger side firewall but i wanted to run the power line the same as the rest of the wiring. I ahve a 14 circuit one that is really overkill. With everything i have i only need a 6 circuit fuseblock.

Any where on your inside firewall that is clear and you have fairly easy access to.
