Anybody know what size the drain plug on a Dauntless bellhousing is?, or, where I might get one?

it does have a large threaded hole directly on the bottom of the bell housing: a 70 model Dauntless. The hole is about the size of a silver dollar.

Why would you need to drain it? It's open in the front. The only thing I've seen is the shield plate that bolts on between the bellhousing and the motor. :?

I have a one piece bellhousing off a 71 and a bellhousing with the adapter off an earlier V6 and niether one of them have a threaded hole in the bottom. Can't imagine why it would even be there.

mine is a '70, stock :v6:, and it has this mystery threaded hole directly on the bottom of bellhousing. on early model Land Rovers, it was called a fording plug. I am not sure of th eexact purpose on a CJ5, but I'd like to find a suitable plug for it. :(
