Replacing an L4-134 in an M38

    The Willy's WWII motors don't match their serial number either, but there is a range that the number should be in. I don't know much about M-38's, but I suspect it is the same situation. So, if that number is in the correct range, I would try to keep it.

    No range for the m38 to match up with. From what have been recored jeeps made the same month even have a wide varity of numbers. I always have read that the gpw engines match the serial numbers, but then again I know m38's not ww2 jeeps.
