Roll Bar height?

    Just put roll bar on my '62 CJ5 and it is about 4 inches taller than the windshield. :rofl:

    Overall height is 34 1/2 inches from base on fender well. That's tall! What is normal? :?

    If I put a bikini top on, water will run toward windshield. looks like a factory made roll bar. What do ya think?

    Sorry - I don't know about the factory bar height. The rollcage I built has the center bar at 33" or 33 1/4" to the top. I remember making it so a Besttop soft top would go over it - if I ever have enough $ R). I don't think 34 1/2 would be too tall, but not sure.

    yep mines higher in the center as well....from the floor pans behind the seat it's 46" to the top, subtract the 11 1/4" wheel well height and you get 34 3/4".....mine works great w/ a bikini, and clears my Kayline soft top as well.

    Haven't measured either of mine but in the 2a it has to be taller than the windsheild so I can still get under it and not be like Dino off of the Flintstones!! I'm 6ft 1in
