I am having some major trouble with my wipers. I have a new motor and old linkage that came with the jeep when I bought it. Everything is wired up and everything works great without the wiper arms and blades put on. The linkage turns and motor runs and the pivot arms move without any issue. When I put the wiper arm and blade on the drivers side it still works good. Now the problem is that when I put the wiper arm on the passenger side it will go beyond the windsheild and end up jammed on the hood and it locks up the motor. Not sure if maybe its the wrong linkage or its bent. Any ideas or help would be great, thanks in advance,
    Mike

    Eric B. Confused???

My linkage locked up once on me, I found that taking both wipers off and using tape to figure out there there going to swipe helped. Might try adjusting the right arm so it doesn't go off the windshield and lock it up

i just had the same problem with my drivers side blade. new wiper arms cured it. even though the arms looked ok, it seemed the pivot was rotating in the serated part of the arm. a word of warning, don't buy the stainless arm kit from krage. it's made by rugged ridge in china, the blades are junk, they fell apart when i installed them, and the "stainless steel" is rusting after 2 weeks for the same price you can get trico adjustable arms from advanced auto. .

krage has a right side wiper pivot with rod for 68-75 jeep cj for 29.95. it's a new part and there's no picture for it yet, but it may be what a lot of folks have been waiting for. my linkage is in great shape and i keep it well lubed

I don't think that is the right part even though they say it is. As far as I know that part is the '76 to whatever year right side linkage. I haven't found anyone who makes linkages for the '68 to '75 models yet. Get measurements of your linkage you currently have before ordering.
