GPW/MB with tailgate?

    Possible, or no? Not a stamped Willys variety, but a flat panel. Doesn't look butchered.

    I have never heard of one, but my knowledge is not as great as some here.

    I thought all MB's and GPW's did not have a tailgate. My.02

    Off topic... My wife and I will be in Destin FL June 8-June 13, maybe we can meet up one day.

    I don't think so. I think a PO mod is much more likely.

    Me too, but I think I might've found one that looks exactly like this:

    I would've thought it to be PO butchery, except now I see another on the web with the exact same tailgate. That one above claims to be a '45.

    Absolutely. I don't think that is too far from me.

    I'd say this one has been skinned over and the tailgate added. No tool boxes on the fenderwells.

    Tailgate would all be PO added not military. Maybe the military would have cut an opening for something but probably fairly rare
