    Would a 1972 Dana 30 be a good upgrade for my 1970 knuckle pudding D27? If so,would it be just a quick bolt in?

    It's sorta a bolt in. Some of the things to deal with are spring plates and u-bolt size, drive shaft length and bolt up to the pinion, shocks, steering changes (tie rod), gearing (3.73?), and caster angle (wedges?).
