Help with VIN?

I hope someone has some information that will make sense out of the VIN on my CJ5. The sticker on the dash is missing:

The metal tag on the firewall reads "FLA3H09092J"? :?

Everything I've found on the 'net claims it should be like "J3F83AH#####".
Is this an ultra rare M38A2 prototype with V8 for high speed reconnaissance?

The CJ5 is 250 miles away right now, so I can't run out and confirm anything.

Not a Jeep VIN - maybe a new VIN assigned by the state?

Tim, this raises a question I also have. I purchased my 1st 74 CJ5 about 3 months ago just before my last heart attack, I wasn't feeling great at the time and never thought to compare VIN #'s on the title to the VIN #'s on the firewall. I know I should have. Now that I am recupearting I decided to really check it all out good. That is when I noticed the tag on the firewall is missing. The numbers on the frame match the title but there are no numbers that I can find anywhere on the tub. You mentioned the state may have assigned a new VIN to the original posters CJ5? Do they indeed issue another ID tag if the original is missing? The missing tag has me a little concerned if I want to sell the Jeep out of state.
