Has anybody ever tried cutting axle shims from key stock on a horizontal band saw?

How would you cut axle shims from key stock, key stock literally is key stock, never bigger than 1/2-5/8" wide on average. Besides most bandsaws are not accurate enough to do that.

They are only 20-25 bucks so why not just buy some.. Now if you had a end mill I could see making some up on your own....but even then Im not sure it would be worth the time.
